Frequently asked questions...

I've found kittens, can you take them?
I see feral cats in my neighborhood, nobody owns them, and I want to help.

Unfortunately, we are not a cat rescue and do not take in any kittens or cats outside of the colonies we are currently working on sterilizing. Please contact your local animal shelter or rescue groups:

Mountains Humane Society - (909) 337-6422

San Bernardino Humane society - (909) 386-1400

Mary S Roberts - (951) 688-4340

Daisy's Hope Foundation - (909) 300-5652

If the kitten is younger than 8 weeks old, use the CASA method and wait before moving them, as their mom could be nearby.  If you have time and a little bit of extra space, you could consider fostering them yourself. Check out these videos by kittenlady. You can also take the found cat into any veterinary hospital to scan for a microchip and potentially find their owner. We always recommend trying to find homes on your own, there are plenty of people looking for a furry friend, or two! If you choose to do that, please encourage adopters to get them spayed and neutered to ensure there are no more kittens!

Thank you for wanting to help cats in your neighborhood! Check out our resource page for more information. You will need a trap and a spay/neuter appointment. Reach out to PAW mission, Mary S Roberts, Ontario Spay and NeuterFeral Cat Coalition, San Bernardino Humane Society for appointments.

If you are unable to trap them yourself, we do offer limited TNR services from Crestline to areas of Running Springs. Please fill out our TNR request form and we will get back to you when we have availability. If you are feeding the cats, you can help by starting a feeding schedule and feeding them at the same time every day, making it easier to trap them when the time comes (4-6pm is the best time). WE DO NOT RELOCATE FERAL CATS. By california law, feral cats cannot be displaced from their neighborhood they live in, unless they are in an unsafe situation. Once we receive your request, we will give you more details on how the TNR process works. Please keep in mind that we have a long list of requests and we will get back to you as soon as we have availability.
