Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue cat/kitten from the MOON VALLEY FELINES!

We are located in Crestline, CA. We offer kitten adoptions in the mountain areas of Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, and Big Bear, as well as surrounding counties like San Bernardino, Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Desert, etc.

ADOPTION APPLICATION

The following information is required so that we can assist you in the selection of your new cat/kitten. This form and a consultation with an MVF adoption counselor is designed to help us determine if the adoption is in the animal’s best interest and to assist you in finding the cat/kitten most compatible with your lifestyle.

ADOPTION DONATION

Adult Cats (over 12 months) – $60
Kittens (under 12 months) – $100
Two Kittens – $150

The adoption donation helps us cover the spay/neuter of your new cat, deworming, vaccinations, and temporary foster and care of the animal. A home visit and a binding contract will be required to adopt the animal.

REQUIREMENTS

Please consider the following requirements before filling out at application:

Must live within 6 hours driving distance of Crestline, CA and have a reliable source of transportation
Cats are a 15-20 year commitment. Please make sure you are ready to adopt a kitten and the responsibility it comes with before filling out an application
Must be 21 years of age or older

We adopt our most of our kittens in pairs unless there is already a resident cat at home. Read all about why two kittens are better than one here!

Are you seeing a lot of feral cats in your neighborhood?

(A feral cat is a domestic cat that lives outdoors, is not socialized with people, and essentially is not owned by anyone.)

If you would like to learn more about the TNR process and get resources on how you can do it yourself, click here.

Please fill out the form to the right if you notice any feral cats in your neighborhood and need help getting them spayed/neutered in order to control populations. We do not offer this service for owned pets. Please click here to find clinics that offer low cost spay/neuter services.

We service Crestline to Lake Arrowhead and all neighborhoods in between, March-November weather permitting. We usually cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery including pain injection, Rabies vaccine, Activyl (flea prevention), praziquantel (dewormer), and minor medical conditions.

We ask for a $5 donation for the FVRCP vaccine that goes directly to the clinic.
